So what did biological dentistry first?
It's about really understanding that the body is affecting the mouth and the mouth is affecting the body. It's really in a broad spectrum that is a cornerstone of biological dentistry. So infections from your mouth can affect your body can affect your immune system. Infections travel from your mouth to different parts of the body and that is a big concern. Toxicity from materials in your mouth can leech into your body. Basically addressing the infections and toxicity from your mouth and making everything healthy and free of toxins and free of infection in your mouth is really the goal of biological dentistry. And that's what we strive for.

Hello My name is Emanuel Corera and I like to share my story of how I met Dr. Fallah and my experience that I was having issues with and the overall care that I got. So prior to see Dr Fallah I have been
struggling with Chronic fatigue for over 10 years. I was seeing different doctors and every time I see a doctor they would give me a different diagnosis of what I had, nobody could figure out exactly what was
wrong with me – I was having a sinus issue, red eyes, swollen tonsils, chronic fatigue was the main issue and despite the fact that I was getting healthy and exercising, sleeping well, nothing would really help
– until I found a naturopath doctor, who kind of got me introduced to detox city and teeth and he referred me to Dr Fallah and I came to see him and I became aware of the toxicities and root canals which i had
a root canal for 15 years. so I came to see Dr. Fallah we did some DNA testing on the root canal tooth and when the results came back, no surprise there was a lot of bacteria and so we proceeded to do an extraction
and that night when we did the extraction that same night, I felt the fatigue just went away I felt this relief in my whole system. The next morning I woke up no red eyes, few days later my tonsils started going
down, for over 10 years I have been struggling with this, some kind of shadow over the top of my right eye something that was always there just a little e\blurry and that went away completely. It has been a
little over a week since we did the extraction and the gum is healing perfectly. Dr. Fallah di a pristine job and the whole tame her is unbelievable. A pristine job is what I can say – it healed perfectly it
healed and is looking a lot better and now we are doing some other treatments but I look forward to keep working with Dr. Fallah and I really recommend anyone struggling with same day issues or just holistic
view of dentistry. Dr. Fallah is the best – he really is. Thank you so much.
Hidden Infections & Oral Health | Holistic Dentistry, Airway & Toxicity Assessment by Dr. Al Fallah
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah, my associate Dr. Juca, and I practice holistic dentistry in Carlsbad, California. And in a very brief video, I want to explain the essence of what we do as holistic dentists. One starts with diagnosis. We want to diagnose very precisely any hidden infections, any tooth that is dead and harbors an infection. We want to assess and evaluate the presence of any toxicity, let's say, from mercury, leakage, and also any areas of a bite issue that is also affecting the airway. The airway is very important. Proper oxygenation and proper sleep are really important for healing, and we want to make sure that all of those are in synchrony and in harmony with our patient's health.

We cleaned them up, and he gave us the great news that he is cancer-free based on his medical doctor's assessment. And we congratulate him for that.
Dr. Fallah Discusses the Importance of Diagnosing and Treating Hidden Oral Infections
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah, and I’m a holistic dentist in Carlsbad, California. In this episode, I would like to talk to you about hidden infections in the jawbone. This could be in the form of an infection around a dead tooth, a failed root canal, or a non-vital tooth. It could be in the form of a damaged area in the… area of a previous extraction, also called a cavitational jawbone abnormality. Or it could be in the form of a deep periodontal pocket. No matter which of these categories it is, the infection burden can be really high at times - on the immune system, on the body, and diagnosing and treating it properly can make a huge difference in a patient’s health. So, that’s what we do.
Dr. Fallah Explains How Hidden Infections Are Uncovered
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah, and I’m a holistic dentist in Carlsbad, California. I would like to talk to you about how we discover and diagnose hidden infections. One of our main tools is a very low-dose Cone Beam machine which has state-of-the-art technology and allows us to look inside the jawbone and underneath the roots of each individual tooth for any loss of bone that would be signaling an infection. We follow that with vitality testing and PCR DNA testing, and together we get the full picture. This is really important in terms of determining what kind of infection we are dealing with, and then we can thoroughly address the infection and help patients’ health.
A Brief Description of Your New Patient Exam with Dr. Fallah
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah, I'm a biological dentist in Carlsbad, California. I am going to explain in less than 60 seconds what to expect from a new patient examination as a holistic dental practice. First, we want to get a thorough history and know what your medical challenges are. We do photos, we do galvanic testing of all the metals in your mouth, and we do a low-dose CT Scan to allow us to see the hidden infections in your mouth. We can follow that up with a PCR DNA testing if you choose to, to see what the nature of the infections might be, and we also use something called T-Scan to measure your bite forces and to assess and see whether there’s anything out of balance. We go over your options, we see what your best choices are, and then we go from there.

Why Pain Is NOT a Reliable Sign of Dental Infection | Holistic Dentistry Explained by Dr. Al Fallah
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah. My associate, Dr. Juca, and I practice holistic dentistry in Carlsbad, California. And in this video, I want to talk about why pain is not an indication of infection in your mouth. So many times, at least 90% of the time, when we're doing a routine 3D scan, we find an infection in a tooth or multiple teeth, and a patient has almost no symptoms. Maybe a history of some pain five, 10, 15 years prior, but at the present time, no pain. However, the infection is percolating into the lymphatic system, into the blood, and into the different parts of the body, and it's definitely short-circuiting the meridians connected to that, too. So it's really important, especially if you have ill health or compromised health, to get the infections in your mouth ruled out, checked out, or treated.
How Holistic Dentistry Helps Prevent Root Canals | Ozone Therapy & Tooth Preservation Explained
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah. My associate, Dr. Juca and I are holistic dentists in Carlsbad, California. And in this video, I wanna go over why we go through extra steps in avoiding root canals for our patients. One, a tooth, a healthy natural tooth has blood flow inside, and it has lymphatic drainage, it has nerve tissue, it has everything that any normal tissue has. We use a copious amount of water when we're preparing the tooth, whether it's for filling or only a crown. We use ozone when decay is very, very close to the nerve. And we make sure the bite is super balanced. And those are really important keys because if there's a heat generated, and if you ever had a Dremel tool, you know how much heat it generates. We avoid that with tons of water. And ozone kills all the microbes without being very invasive. And of course, the bite is very important.
Why Treating Oral Infections Can Improve Energy, Healing, and Overall Wellness
Transcript
Hi, my name is Doctor Fallah. My associate, Dr. Juca, and I practice holistic dentistry in Carlsbad, California.
And one of the important things with holistic dentistry is really diagnosing properly in a way that actually enhances patients' oral health and the effect of oral health on systemic health, which is very important.
For example, diagnosing hidden infections, addressing the airway, addressing TMJ and facial pain, and, really, one of the most important things would be cleaning the infections in a way that would reduce the infection burden on the body. And hence, the body can heal better address other aspects of life better.
So many times when we do our low-dose cone beam evaluation, we find these totally hidden infections, sometimes in the upper molars communicating with the sinus, and sometimes in other parts of the body, and these infections typically have no pain and are very visible on the cone beam.
We can also do a PCR DNA test to see what microbes are brewing in there. Often, they drain into the lymphatic system, into the blood, and they can go into the heart, brain, and other tissues and cause a lot of havoc and damage.
We typically take care of our patients with IV sedation and ensure everything is completely comfortable and numb.
And once we access the infection, whether it's through a dead tooth, an infected tooth, or an area in the jawbone, we clean it really thoroughly with a combination of ozone, an ultrasonic surgical device called piezo curettage, and sterile saline, and make sure that everything is clean.
We use platelet-rich fibrin and pure-grade antibiotics that we can place in the plane, a rich fibrin. We want to eliminate all the infections and do them very effectively.
Hidden Dental Infections | Advanced Diagnosis & Ozone, PRF Treatment in Holistic Dentistry
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah. My associate, Dr. Juca, and I are holistic dentists in Carlsbad, California. And in today's discussion, I want to talk about hidden infections.
We diagnose hidden infections through low-dose cone beam X-rays and also other modalities, including PCR DNA testing. And treatment is really effective and really foundational in the sense of removing the source of the infection. We use things like ozone. We clean up the area of infection really well with not just ozone, but piezo and other modalities. And we make sure that the body has a capacity to heal itself in those areas really well. And we use modalities such as PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) and other modalities, such as sticky bone graft.

How Deep Bone Infections Are Treated in Holistic Dentistry | Advanced Infection Care Explained by Dr. Al Fallah
Transcript
Hi, my name is Dr. Fallah. My associate, Dr. Juca, and I practice holistic dentistry in Carlsbad, California.
Friday, two days ago, I took care of a patient, and she's been having a lot of very severe health issues. And we did a PCR DNA testing on some areas of infection that were assessed and identified through a cone beam scan.
Through sedation, proper anesthesia, numbing, I accessed those infections, and they're massive, way beyond the boundaries of the tooth, and penetrating into the bone in a very deep way. We cleaned everything really meticulously. We used ozone, piezo, curetted, saline, and cleaned everything really well, and we are expecting really great healing.
