Dental Implants
Dr. Fallah's Dental Implant techniques are special because he uses three-dimensional computer imaging and modeling to precisely place dental implants so that they achieve maximum results and comfort for the patient.
Using advanced tomography (a kind of 3D x-ray) Dr. Fallah can precisely map a patient's bone structure, and even nerves and sinuses. Computer simulation then makes it possible for Dr. Fallah to determine the optimum placement for the implants.
This technique increases the success rate and the life of the implants because of the precision of the placement of the dental implant.
Dr. Fallah is one of very few dentists in the San Diego Area, who uses a T-Scan to precisely calibrate the chewing force and the timing of force on dental implants.
Natural teeth have periodontal ligaments that act as shock absorbers. When you have a mix of natural teeth and implants, traditional techniques will result in the simultaneous contact of natural teeth and implants when the patient bites down. In this process, the implants absorb the majority of the force, because natural teeth get compressed with the periodontal ligaments.
With the T-Scan technology, Dr. Fallah fine-tunes the biting forces, so that the implants are loaded after the natural teeth have compressed the ligaments, which achieves the ideal loading end result for both your natural teeth, and your implants. Furthermore, Dr. Fallah uses neuromuscular bite techniques to achieve ideal initial placement of your implants, so the implants are aligned in the proper position.
Whether restoring a single tooth or performing a Full-Mouth Reconstruction, Dental Implants offer a great deal of convenience and reliability for patients with missing teeth.
Dr. Fallah and his entire office staff are committed to forging a long-standing, valued relationship with each of our patients. Our goal is to meet and exceed your expectations.
